Please that the under 10’s do not practice during the week. All of the coaching and learning will be during the games on Friday nights. Please contact Craig woods on 9842 8306.
Under 10’s
The under 10 team will not take part in any training sessions during the season proper. All of the learning and coaching will be during game times on Friday nights. The modified rules allow coaches to work with players during the games.
The coach Craig Woods, and some parents, may well want to look at a few training sessions during the season. We will leave that up to Craig and the parents to decide.
Some under 10 players who are excelling may be asked (if they would like to) to play a game or 2 with the under 12’s (also on Friday nights). Again, we will play that by ear.
Craig can be contacted on 9842 8306. This will be his first year as a coach, however he has recently completed a cricket Australia coaching course and is looking forward to coaching the under 10’s.
Craig will however need a fair deal of assistance from the parents. Particularly transport to away games, scoring and relieving him from umpiring duties from time to time. We ask all parents to assist Craig to help run a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved.
As a get together for the under 10’s we will organize 2 pre-season training sessions for all players to attend. The dates are as follows;
Wednesday 6th October 5-6pm Donvale reserve
Wednesday 13th October 5-6pm Donvale reserve
We hope that all players can make these sessions to sharpen up their skills before the first game.
MILO "IN2CRICKET"
MILO "IN2CRICKET" will commence on 5th November and will be run on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
