St David’s Cricket Club is an affiliate of the BHRDCA with its home grounds and pavilion located at Donvale Reserve. In 2011/12 the club fielded 4 Senior teams, 2 Veterans teams and 4 Junior teams; it also has a MILOin2Cricket program which is run annually.
The Club is seeking a Captain-Coach or Playing Coach for the upcoming season to lead a growing resurgence on-field at St David’s. The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:
Have a proven track record as coach or player at 1st XI level
Have strong leadership skills; can demonstrate by words and by example
Has an unwavering determination for on field success
Ability to play and succeed at BHRDCA Wilson Shield Level or higher
Willingness to aid with junior development
Availability to meet prospective new recruits
Ability to teach and improve cricket techniques
Willingness to be involved with selection of all senior sides
The potential coach will be required to construct a season plan with key milestones and present it to committee. In addition the successful applicant will need to develop and implement engaging training sessions for the entire senior playing list.
Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Expressions of interest, including details of applicants experience and qualifications are to be submitted to president@stdavidscc.com by Friday 18th May.
